Community Guidelines

LINK EMOTO exists to help electric-moto riders find legal places to ride, exchange useful information, meet other riders, and strengthen the riding community.

Participation in the LINK EMOTO Rider Network is a privilege. By using the community, you agree to follow these guidelines and the platform’s Terms of Service.

1. Treat People With Respect

Healthy disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks are not.

Do not post:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation

• Hate speech or discriminatory content

• Sexual harassment or unwanted advances

• Abusive comments about another rider’s experience, skill, appearance, motorcycle, or background

• Content intended primarily to provoke or humiliate another member

• Private information about another person without permission

Criticize ideas and products—not the person posting about them.

2. Promote Legal and Responsible Riding

Do not use LINK EMOTO to encourage or organize:

• Trespassing

• Riding on private property without permission

• Dangerous riding on public roads

• Street takeovers or reckless group rides

• Evasion of law enforcement

• Tampering with or damaging riding locations

• Riding in closed or restricted areas

• Activities that violate applicable laws, track rules, or land-use restrictions

Always confirm permission before riding. Respect closures, posted signs, property owners, track staff, neighbors, and other trail users.

3. Meetup Safety

LINK EMOTO helps riders connect but does not organize, supervise, inspect, endorse, or guarantee member-created meetups.

When meeting other members:

• Meet in a legal and appropriate riding location

• Tell someone where you are going

• Use reasonable caution with people you have only met online

• Do not publicly share another person’s home address or precise private location

• Confirm the skill level and purpose of the ride

• Wear appropriate protective equipment

• Follow the rules of the property or track

• Do not pressure anyone to attempt terrain or obstacles beyond their ability

Minors should participate only with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Keep Track Information Honest

Track reports and directory updates should be based on current, firsthand information whenever possible.

When posting track information:

• State when the information was confirmed

• Identify whether it came from the track, a public announcement, or personal experience

• Distinguish confirmed facts from rumors or assumptions

• Do not mark a location as e-moto friendly without reasonable evidence

• Correct outdated information when you discover it

• Never encourage someone to ignore a track’s rules

A LINK EMOTO listing or “Verified” label does not guarantee current access. Riders must always confirm directly with the track before traveling.

5. Protect Personal Information

Do not publish another person’s:

• Home address

• Phone number

• Email address

• Private messages

• Financial information

• Government identification

• Precise private riding location

• Images or identifying details shared with an expectation of privacy

Avoid posting sensitive information about yourself. Public forum content may be indexed by search engines and shared outside the community.

6. No Spam, Scams, or Manipulation

Do not use the community for:

• Repetitive advertising

• Affiliate-link spam

• Fraudulent sales or giveaways

• Misleading product claims

• Impersonation

• Artificial engagement

• Unsolicited bulk messages

• Phishing or malicious links

• Selling illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or unsafe items

Businesses and creators may participate honestly, but commercial relationships, sponsorships, affiliate links, discounts, and free products must be clearly disclosed.

7. Marketplace and Technical Advice

Unless LINK EMOTO expressly operates a transaction, private sales and trades are solely between the participating members. Inspect products carefully and use secure payment methods.

Technical information posted by members may be incomplete or incorrect. Modifying batteries, controllers, chargers, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, or other components may cause injury, fire, equipment failure, property damage, or loss of warranty coverage.

Verify important technical information with qualified professionals and manufacturers.

8. Appropriate Content

Keep posts relevant to electric motorcycles, electric dirt bikes, tracks, riding locations, events, builds, maintenance, safety, racing, and the riding community.

Do not post illegal content, pornography, graphic violence, malicious software, stolen material, or content that infringes another party’s intellectual-property rights.

Only upload content you own or have permission to share. Give creators proper credit when reposting their work.

9. Reporting Problems

Use the forum’s reporting tools to flag:

• Harassment or threats

• Dangerous or illegal activity

• Spam or scams

• Privacy violations

• Misinformation that may place riders or riding locations at risk

• Content that violates these guidelines

Do not organize public attacks against another member. Report the problem and allow moderators to review it.

For an immediate threat or emergency, contact local emergency services.

10. Moderation

LINK EMOTO may edit, move, restrict, close, or remove content and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the community or enforce these guidelines.

Moderation decisions may consider the content, context, severity, previous conduct, and risk to other members or riding locations.

LINK EMOTO is not required to publish every submission or provide advance notice before removing content.

11. Community Responsibility

Every member helps determine what this network becomes.

Share accurate information. Welcome new riders. Protect legal riding access. Leave riding locations better than you found them.
